Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes you just can't seem to figure it out. Maybe you have an idea.

They were learning at the Kotel early this morning before praying and a pigeon landed on the older guy's shoulder. His learning partner hit the bird with his finger trying to send it away, but the bird wouldn't leave! It stayed there for half an hour until they finished learning and then it flew off. Maybe he wanted to hear what they were learning?

In all seriousness, is it possible that the Soul of the pigeon was a Jew who in a former life was a Torah scholar but had never quite understood a certain passage in the Torah, or has not studied it correctly, and now he is reincarnated as a pigeon. And that by "listening" to this passage from the Torah as a pigeon his soul is redeemed?
    Can that actaully happen?
