Thank G-d!

   by Reb Gutman Locks

Thank G-d!

What do you say when you see your friend come to the Kotel early in the morning, standing there saying the morning blessings, three days after he was stabbed by a terrorist, with blood stains still on the back of his tallis?

     "Thank G-d!"

He was in the middle of the blessings so he could not say anything, but how do you think he reacted?

He looked at me and with a loud voice said, "Uh huh!! Uh huh!!" (Total agreement)

Why should we thank G-d after having been stabbed by an arab murderer? Thank G-d my friend is alright. Thank G-d he is recovering so quickly. Thank G-d we are able to be in our Holy Land, Thank G-d we live in the city called "G-d's Holy city…," and even though we are not yet able to go up onto the Temple Mount, we all know that it is going to happen very soon.

If these evil animals knew that every time they attack it strengthens us even more they would stop all of their attacks at once.[i] In fact, they are another sign that the Redemption is happening and we are blessed to have a front row seat. Thank G-d!
