Niseim – 4 Nisan - Shevet Reuven Elitzur ben Shdei'ur

The 4th day’s Nasi is from Shevet Reuven, Elitzur ben Shdei'ur.

The symbol of the Tribe of Reuven is the Mandrake plant (Mandragore) The gemstone of the Tribe of Reuven is a Ruby (Odem) The flag banner of the Tribe of Reuven is a red color and on the flag it had a symbol of Dudaim (Mandrake).

Reuven was the firstborn son of Yaakov Aveinu (Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham). He was the Leah Emeinu's oldest son. The tribe of Reuven was the first to receive their Divinely mandated inheritance in the Land of Israel. He had been designated as the firstborn to serve HaKadosh Boruch Hu (G-d), but because of some of his character traits and the sin of the golden calf that service was transferred to the Tribe of Levi. The name "Reuven" can be defined as "look at the difference between" my father-in-law's (Isaac's) son, Esav, and my son (so said Leah). Reuven was the first to do Tshuva (repentance) of the brothers for the sale of Yoseph (Joseph). Because of this greatness of character, he merited to have Hoshea, the Prophet, as his descendant who was the first to speak to the nation of Yisrael to do Tshuva. Reuven's land inheritance in Israel lay on the east side of the Jordan River.

Bzchus Shevet Reuven Ben Yaakov Avinu May we all be Zoche to be emesdik True Ba’alei Tshuvah. "In the place where baalei teshuva stand, even the perfectly righteous cannot stand" (Berachos 34b)."

Zecher Tzaddik V’Kadosh Livracha. Z”YA Amen!!!

Bzchus Shevet Shimon Ben Yaakov Avinu May Hashem Hear Our Tefillos And Bring The Geula SHleima B’Karov . Zecher Tzaddik V’Kadosh Livracha. Z”YA Amen!!!

May it be Hashems Will and Greatest Mercy that all the Neshamos of these Shevatim and all Neshamos of Yisrael be uplifted in the Avoda of These Shevatim And all that have fallen from these Shevatim and from all the Shevatim be uplifted to their Proper place in the Zchus of Shevet Reuven and Shevet Shimon ben Yaakov Avinu and their Nessiim. May it be His Will Yehihyu LRatzon Imrei Fi V’Hegyon Libi Lifanecha Adonai Tzuri V’Goali. Amen.V’Amen!!!

VeHaya A-Donai L’MELECH AL Kul Ha’Aretz BaYom Hahu Yiheye A-Donai Echad u’SHmoi ECHAD!!!!
