Sun is Going Down

Sun is Going Down

by Reb Gutman Locks

What do you do if you are a religious girl on a day tour with your back pack, in a busy part of town, and you realize that the sun is going down and you didn’t daven mincha (afternoon prayers) yet? You look for a quiet place where you think you won’t be noticed so much; you stand facing, close to a wall, and you daven. Not so very unusual around here, but still, whenever I see it, it makes me stop and think, “How wonderful are Your people.”
