"Jews, Out of France!"

by Reb Gutman Locks

The French people are really angry. Their unemployment is steep. They are protesting that all of the available jobs are being taken by Islamic immigrants. There is a chilling video in the news showing some 17,000 Frenchmen angrily demonstrating, screaming, “Jews, out of France. France is not for you!”

But, wait a minute. If they are marching against Muslim immigrants taking their jobs, why are they screaming; “Jews Out!”? It makes no sense. Why should an anti-Muslim riot single out Jews?

     I’ll tell you why.

That march took place in the country that has the largest Jewish population in Europe, in a city that saw the nazi (y’ms) roundups of Jews sending them to concentration camps, and of all days of the year, it happened the very day before Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Of course we have to condemn those evil people, but the real question we should be asking is, “Why is G-d sending this to us again, and in the same place that He sent it before?”

The answer seems obvious: In their perverted way, those evil people are right. Jews should leave France as soon as possible. They should come home to the land that G-d has given us.

G-d is redeeming the Jewish People now. The “Ingathering” that G-d and His prophets promised us thousands of years ago is happening right now.[1] G-d wants us all to come home so He can hurry the next and even greater stage of the Redemption.

French Jews, Israel is waiting for you. Come, get away from there. Bring your families and come home now. We will greet you at the airport with welcome arms. There is plenty of room for you here, and you will fit in fine, side by side with the rest of us who came from all over the world when we realized that G-d was talking to us when He said, I will give you a good land, a land of milk and honey.
