Bnei Noach Know

by Reb Gutman Locks @ Mystical Paths

Bnei Noach (literally, “Children of Noah”) are non-Jews who follow the Seven Commandments that Hashem gave to Noah. When he or she keeps these laws, they become righteous people, and we are to love them, and respect them for their spiritual accomplishment. They have a huge share in this world and a share in the World to Come. Here is a letter from a Noahide who has been reading our articles.

He wrote:

Attached is a picture of our boys.  The eldest is Hariken Noah who is 8 years old and Joshua Nathan is 5.

Yesterday, my 5 year-old was asked if he believed in the x-tian god, and he said, “NO!”
He said that he believes in HASHEM who is everywhere, and that a man cannot be a god.

Unfortunately for their mother and I, we cannot be with them always and they have encountered situations with other children and adults where they have had to defend their position and suffer chastisement.

We talk about the 7 Noahide laws, but at their age they just understand that we do not believe in nor worship idols, and HASHEM made everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th.

Thank you from a Bnei Noach in the Republic of Panama.

  1. Hello to the person who wrote in with the picture of his adorable sons,
Yasher koach! You are a light unto the world. My father was a Ben Noach. It is truly a righteous way to be!
    Shabbat Shalom
