Being Ill on Yom Kippur

via Hirhurim

What if you’re sick on Yom Kippur, which includes having persistent illnesses such as diabetes?  Here’s a nice walk-through of the halachot (Jewish religious law) of eating on the fast day of Yom Kippur, which can be a mitzvah when you are ill.  Of course, this is only an overview of the topic – consult your local orthodox rabbi for application to your personal situation.

Hebrew with English subtitles, 3 minutes.
