Iran to “Attack the World”?

Middle Eastern specialist Michael Totten reports…

Con Coughlin reports in London’s Telegraph:

According to Western intelligence officials, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave the order to the elite Quds Force unit following a recent emergency meeting of Iran's National Security Council in Tehran held to discuss a specially-commissioned report into the implications for Iran of the Assad regime's overthrow.

Damascus is Iran's most important regional ally, and the survival of the Assad regime is regarded as vital to sustaining the Iranian-backed Hizbollah militia which controls southern Lebanon.

The report, which was personally commissioned by Mr Khamenei, concluded that Iran's national interests were being threatened by a combination of the U.N. sanctions imposed over Iran's nuclear programme and the West's continuing support for Syrian opposition groups attempting to overthrow the Syrian government.

Intelligence officials say the report concludes that Iran "cannot be passive" to the new threats posed to its national security, and warns that Western support for Syrian opposition groups was placing Iran's "resistance alliance" in jeopardy, and could seriously disrupt Iran's access to Hizbollah in Lebanon.

It advised that the Iranian regime should demonstrate to the West that there were "red lines" over what it would accept in Syria, and that a warning should be sent to "America, the Zionists, Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others that they cannot act with impunity in Syria and elsewhere in the region."

(Michael Totten) I’m not convinced the Iranian regime easily can or actually will dispatch terrorists to Western targets, but I could be wrong. Khamenei has every reason to view the fall of Bashar al-Assad with despair. For his post-modern Mediterranean empire will have its torso ripped out.

(Reb Akiva) This sounds suspicously like the trigger for the Gemora described conflict between Rome and Persia as part of the geulah, and a lead up event to Yalkut Shimoni Remez Yishayahu 499.

  1. Before Iran attacks the world in the Shmittah year 5775, there has to be Stage One of Gog UMagog. The whole avodah zarah of World Public Opinion has to be destroyed. This might involve the destruction of the homes of Kadima, Labor, and Meretz voters, midah keneged midah, to end the debate. G-d willing, HaShem in his great merciful judgement will preserve the homes of all people who are sane in this country and have voted for sanity. This not to say that Bibi does not work for the CFR world view in order to get American planes and weapons systems. So no one is saying that any political party in Israel is pure. This includes the religious parties. Yet, there is sanity, and then there is the avodah zarah of World Public Opinion, the avodah zarah of the Erev Rav. Let us pray that HaShem in the upcoming war puts an end to this avodah zarah of the inmates trying to run the asylum. Out of this we get Mashiach ben Ephraim where common decency is lishma. I would advise everyone on the Left Coast to hook up with people in Yehudah and the Shomron for a place to stay during the duration. If you are a Kadima, Labor, or Meretz voter, please spend two weeks living with a Migron or former Ulpana resident in his or her new trailer before showing up at my front door to simply learn a couple lessons in common decency versus your avodah zarah for the purposes of teshuvah. You have caused so much pain.

  2. yes rav dahan has some new info i will postsoon on my blog

  3. But isn't there another 'King' that needs to fall as part of this scenario? Could that be Jordan or Saudi A? And if Romney wins, king o falls (even if stretching that description a bit)!

  4. Yes, Neshama, two kings must perish since this is the War in the North according to the Zohar VaYeira 119. First we had the molad for Siwan when the 7 Sisters were aligned with the sun during the annular solar eclipse. Then there were 60 days with the immanent presence of G-d. And now there has to be some sort of world war in the north (Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey) in which 2 kings will perish. The 2 kings have not perished yet, probably because this war in Syria is not yet a world war described in Yishayahu 17: 12- 14 over Damascus. In verse 14 it says that this world war will take place "L'eit Erev". The gematriah of that is 772. So this could mean that it becomes a world wide conflagration at the end of 5772 or the beginning of 5773 according to Rav Yekutiel Fish. As you know exact dates are hidden.

Then the entire world will turn against Israel to wipe us off the map so that we cease being a nation. Then sometime in 5773 a City in Rome (Western World) or called Rome will be hit with fire, hail, and meteorites at the beginning of an international conference. All this in 5773. Such is what is described in the Zohar, the b'itah scenario.

What is unclear from the Zohar is, Is this to bring Mashiach ben Ephraim until the Shmittah year, or do we get Mashiach ben David right away? Yet, we are obviously on schedule for one of the two, b'itah.

  5. I was going to talk gashmiut, and everyone is already on the spiritual side.

Syria is also one of Iran's sea ports. Without it, Iran loses a way to bypass the blockade.

Why would Michael Toteen not think the Persians will carry out attacks? The westerners need to look at Persia from Persian eyes, not rational western eyes.

  6. Well the other gashmiyut aspect of all this is the Russians do not have a port in the Mediterranean Sea except for Latakia or Tartus, Syria. Without their Syrian port or ports, they would have to force their Navy past NATO troops stationed in Istanbul through the Bosporus in the event of a World War...

  7. Dov, Rosh haShana, remember what you said, was there a bli neder, I don't recall.
