Visiting the Patriarchs & Matriarchs (pictorial)

by Fayga @ Mystical Paths

The Marat HaMachpela, the cave of the Patriarchs purchased by Abraham in parshat Chaya Sarah in the Torah (bible), is currently divided… the location of Jacob, Abraham and Sarah, and also Esaiv, is on one side and generally accessible to Jews and other visitors.

The Isaac and Rivka section is generally only accessible to muslims, and only opened for Jewish access a few times a year.

Here’s a few photos from my visit to Hebron on Monday when they opened the Isaac hall to Jews.   The last picture shows visiting the tom of Yishai and Ruth, also rarely accessible.
