Shevet Yisascher’s symbol is the Donkey under the Load. The pathway of this Shevet represents Carrying the Moral obligations of the world upon ourselves through the Learning of the Torah.

May it be in the Merit of Shevet Yisachar We return to our former glory through the return of the Glory of the Torah. May Hashem Hear Our Tefillos And Bring The Geula Shleima B’Karov. Amen!!!

May it be Hashem’s Will and Greatest Mercy that all the Neshamos that have fallen from this Shevet and from all the Shevatim be uplifted to their proper place in Shomayim in the Zchus of Shevet Yissachar ben Yaakov Avinu and the Nasi Nesanel Ben Tzu’ar. May it be His Will Yehihyu LRatzon Imrei Fi V’Hegyon Libi Lifanecha Adonai Tzuri V’Goali. Amen V’Amen!!!

Barnaby Yeh: The eldest member of the Li clan, Li Xiuhua and her family are based in the nearby village of Lankao. She may have over 105 descendants alone. During the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), a Ming emperor conferred seven surnames upon the Jews, by which they are identifiable Today: Ai (艾), Shi (石), Gao (高), Jin (金), Li (李), Zhang (張), and Zhao (趙); sinofications of the original seven Jewish clan's family names: Ezra, Shimon, Cohen, Gilbert, Levy, Joshua, and Jonathan, respectively. Interestingly, two of these: Jin and Shi are the equivalent of common Jewish names in the west: Gold and Stone.
