Islamic Court rules Allah is not God

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia (Reuters) - A Malaysian (Islamic) court ruled on Monday that a … newspaper may not use the word "Allah" to refer to God… The unanimous decision by three Muslim judges in Malaysia's appeals court overturned a 2009 ruling by a lower court that allowed a … (non-Islamic) newspaper to use the word Allah.

"The usage of the word Allah… will cause confusion in the (non-Islamic) community" chief judge Mohamed Apandi Ali said in the ruling.

…Muslims outside the court …greeted the decision with shouts of "Allahu Akbar" (God is Greatest).

"As a Muslim, defending the usage of the term Allah qualifies as jihad. It is my duty to defend it," said Jefrizal Ahmad Jaafar, 39.  Jihad is Islamic holy war or struggle.

Lawyers for the (news)paper had argued that the word Allah predated Islam and had been used extensively by (non-Muslims) in Malaysia's part of Borneo island for centuries.  "The nation must protect and support the rights of the minority," said …the founding editor of the Herald. "God is an integral part of every religion.

  1. The neutral term for God or Deity in Arabic is Ilah with Allah referring to a specific Moon deity from Pre-islamic Arab paganism.

Also another meaning to "Allahu Akbar" is "Allah is Greater" implying as the title of this post says outright that Allah is not God, despite the many claims by countless oil-fuelled sell-out Interfaithers / Co-Existence-Types to the contrary.

  2. This is a response to Jesterhead45:
G-d in hebrew: “Eloah”, in Aramaic: “Elah”, in Arabic: “Ilah”. It seems they have a common root, so when you mention your anti-islamic claim, you commit blasphemy against G-d and you also go against your own religion.
“Allah” means “The G-d”. In Arabic the word “Allah” has no gender, nor plural. G-d is One, so that's the proper name. (In Arabic language when it is said “He” and “We” in the Qur'an, it is for respect, because “it” is disrespectful)
Your claim is also refuted in the Qur'an:

41:37 And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah , who created them, if it should be Him that you worship.
