From Yemin Moshe

photos by Reb Akiva @ Mystical Paths

I was in Yemin Moshe on Monday afternoon.  Yemin Moshe is a small community built outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.  So it’s got some great views of the Old City, and past the Old City into the West Bank…

Looking the other direction, we see the Tower of David museum, which is actually an ancient Crusader fortress…

Looking towards the newer side of Jerusalem, we see the famous Jerusalem Windmill…

I wanted to zoom in on one spot on the first picture.  This is the famous West Bank wall, which has effectively reduced terrorist infiltrations by 95%.  Yet the politics of it is so crazy that you see in this picture it be routed in a circle, to avoid or cover some area over which the Ministry of Defense was probably taken to court.  Defense by lawyer…not so smart.

Wow, I can't believe this. I was doing the same as you. I was on a PhotoWalk, only I was there Sunday aftn. Saw the same scenery and took some great pics. Ill have to post them on my other blog. Plus there was a special gathering of Journalists in their newly anointed section of the artists colony. I saw a lot of JPost people, plus Natan Sharansky was there. the grounds are truly beautiful.
