What Are You Supposed to Think?

at the Western Wall with Reb Gutman Locks on Mystical Paths
What are you supposed to think when you see a Jew who looks like this? “Weirdo! Ha! Ha! I wonder where he has been? Oh Boy! Look at that!” …and on and on.
But you know what? We all have looked like we needed help at sometime in our lives. And you know what else? If you will extend yourself, and help even the strangest cases, G-d is going to extend Himself, and help even you.

Maybe he thinks YOU look weird? Might I suggest not even having a hava amina to judge someone based on his appearance?
All the children of Israel are righteous.
Anon, read the post again. FWIW, hair like that, in Israel, is in fact weird by definition. It is not 'normal'. It is not even judgemental. At the kotel, Rav Guttman is not weird, but in some parts of Israel, Haredi dress is definitely weird. Likewise, a man with red dyed hair wearing yellow stockings is weird in Tel Aviv.
