Weird Moment at the Kotel – 2:30am

via Reb Gutman Locks @ Mystical Paths
A Jew prays at the Kotel (Western Wall) while a Black African kneels beside him.
Reb Akiva adds, people come from all over the world to visit Jerusalem and the Western Wall. When they are not Jewish they sometimes come in costumes and with religious symbols of their religions and attempt to pray or worship in their way at our holy site. Most of the time, as in the picture above, this is due to ignorance and an honest desire to honor G-d.

Maybe the wailing wall is Jewish Holy site but the temple about to be rebuilt on that ground is Hashem's house of prayer for all nations -that's for sure.
Keep hoping.
It always was open to anyone who wanted to come to pray to G-d. BUT not in their way - in G-d's way.
After 3000 years of targeting and slaughtering G-d's people, one may find that house of prayer only open to the righteous among the nations.
Actually Akiva, according to the Tanach the person on the right is acually praying according to the Tanach. Solomon, described in 1 Kings 8:54 is praying with kneeling and hands spread towards heaven.
So who is actually reaching out to our Father in heaven with humility, the picture is worth a thousand words.
