Geulah rumors are swirling. This rav found a reference in …. that the Geulah will be by …
Another rav found a reference in the words of the tzadik, zt”l, that things will start by …
We are Bnei Ma’amiim and Bnei Navi’im (the sons and daughters of believers and the sons and daughters of prophets). But the doors of prophecy closed and, as far as we can tell, have yet to reopen.
We are in a time of worldly troubles and shifting power. A Haman HaRasha of the generation is threating, and it doesn’t take prophecy to see it.
Similarly “a new king has arisen that does not know Yosef”. No prophecy is required to see that either (though rose colored glasses need to be removed from those who have glued them upon their faces).
The wise will take note and prepare, spiritually and physically, whether for the Geulah (may it be today!) or for a time of trouble for Yaakov. Yet that’s also been made harder as personal resources for (far too) many have dwindled through negative economic impact.
Where will we run? To whom can we turn? “All that I have done, I have done for you.”
