Over and Above

According to halacha (Jewish religious law), everyone has an obligation to give extra charity to the needy for Passover.  Not ma’aser money, but over an above.

Why?  Why over and above?

Mystical Paths Passover Campaign–Endorsed by Rabbi Lazer Brody, shlita
To merit redemption, to merit being passed over and taken out of Egypt, we must go over and above.  Over and above our regular chesed (kindness) and tzedakah (charity and righteousness).

By reaching beyond our normal abilities we are reaching UP and BREAKING THE BARRIERS.  By doing so we reach toward Hashem who is reaching down and breaking the barriers from above that separate us.

We at Mystical Paths remind everyone to fulfill the mitzvah of Maos Chitim – Kimcha D’Pischa and do our part in reaching towards the geulah (redemption) in chodesh hageulah (in the month of redemption – Nissan) for chag hageulah (for the holiday of redemption – Passover).

And if you’d like to do it direct via two bloggers, two Jews, two chassidim doing what they can to help the needy in Israel, you can donate right here, right now to the Mystical Paths – Helping the Needy for Passover campaign.  No overhead, just 100% charity.  (Authorized by Israeli charity Yesh Ma L’asot, supervised by Rabbi Chaim HaKohein Farro.)

In the merit of tzedakah may we all merit the ultimate redemption this Pesach. NO, sooner, today!

You may donate by credit card or by check or bank transfer. Info below or email us at charity@mpaths.com
