Join Us in Helping the Poor for Purim!

(direct video link)

Chodesh Tov Adar Bet.  Mishanichnas Adar Marbim B’Simcha, when Adar enters we increase in joy!  And with a second Adar we increase double!!

Purim is coming, and one of the main mitzvot (religious obligations) for Purim is matanot l’evyonim, gifts for the poor.  We can help poor families feel the joy of Purim by standing up and helping them with some Purim charity!

Each holiday we at Mystical Paths ask you to help us help the needy in Eretz Yisroel (in Israel).  The poor of Israel have the same priority as the poor of your local Jewish communities throughout the world and are ready to act as your agent to fulfill the mitzvah of matanot l’evyonim, gifts for the poor for Purim, in the Holy Land.

We are just two chassidim doing what we can for the poor of our community.  No overhead, no administration, no costs other than charity for the poor (and about 6% overhead for credit card processing and money changing).  Every single dollar, pound, euro, shekel, ruble, or kronor goes directly to charity.

This year we are coordinating through Rabbi Nati’s legally registered Israeli charity Yesh Ma L’asot, which means we can also accept checks or wire transfers as well as our regular credit cards and Paypal donations.  And we’ve also asked the Mashpia Rabbi Chaim HaKohein Farro, previously of Manchester, England and now of our community in Israel, to provide rabbinical oversight and haskama (supervision and approval), which he has done.

So we ask you to let us be your agent for the mitzvah of matanot l’evyonim, gifts for the poor for Purim, in Israel.  Here’s how…

The time has passed to help and fulfill the mitzvah of matanot l'evyonim for Purim 2011, but charity is always a mitzvah!

Thank you.  And may Hashem bless you that your Purim table be filled with good food, good drink, and simcha!

Note that donations are tax deductible in Israel.  Amuta number upon request.
