The Kever of the Baal Shem Tov

The Holy Baal Shem Tov founded the chassidic movement.  His holy resting place in Mezibuz (located in the Ukraine) has been refurbished and is now a common stop for chassidic visitors touring Russia or the Ukraine.

Our friend Reb Dovid of DAF Studios Israel (top quality photography for all types of events and simchas – 054 971 7859) shares some of his pictures of a visit there…

The ohel of the Baal Shem Tov…

The Baal Shem Tov’s kever.  He does not rest alone but surrounded by subsequent tzaddikim…

Though a kever, it’s said to be a place of great simcha – a spirit of happiness pervades the ohel just as the Baal Shem Tov directed in life.

Adjacent to the kever is a shul where Jews from all over the world join together to raise their voices to Hashem in the merit of the holy Baal Shem Tov and other tzaddikim here.

For some the visit of a lifetime, for others the path of the tzaddikim is regularly visited.  May Hashem answer all prayers and may our holy tzaddikim stand for the merit of all Klal Yisroel.
