Visiting Havakuk the Prophet
Havakuk HaNavi – the biblical prophet Habbakkuk, is buried on the side of the road heading up the mountain to Tzfat and Meron. Our friend Reb Dovid of DAF Studios Israel (top quality photography for all types of events and simchas) took a trip up north and shared these excellent pictures…
The kever (the holy tomb) of Havakuk is a small tomb hidden off the side of the road up the mountain, out of view. The building is hundreds of years old.
The inside is a small room with basically just the kever.
The area around the kever is very pretty with a picnic area
The kever area has a large courtyard where some come for outdoor learning or even for some prayer and picnicking.
