A Wedding and a Rebbe

I was fortunate to attend a very nice wedding last night and was able to capture some pictures of the Spinka Rebbe, shlita of Bnei Brak who attended as well…

The chupa was at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel on the outskirts of Jerusalem. As many a kibbutz, Ramat Rachel has successfully transformed itself into a hotel – convention center – banquet hall(s) as it’s primary business (as opposed to chicken farming).


Music was by Menachem Herman.  For those who also read Rabbi Lazer Brody, they’ll recognize the name.  I have to say seeing a Breslover chossid in a sirtuk (long black coat) with long payos and a greying long beard playing electric guitar was a study in contrasts.  Still, the music was excellent (and not so loud as to be deafening).


The Spinka Rebbe, shlita of Bnei Brak received a bracha under the chupa and joined the dancing…




A wonderful wedding, a beautiful chossan and kallah, a chuppah over the Judean hills in the suburbs of Jerusalem, a holy rebbe shlita.  A special time.
