The Flotilla and Biblical Prophecy

by Reb Akiva at Mystical Paths

By now everyone knows what happen with the Flotilla of Fools send from Turkey to Gaza through the Israeli naval blockade.  However, this quote should raise some big red flags (not like the one above):

IBN-CNN broadcast news reports that the Turkish government has pledged to send more supply vessels in the Gaza relief effort: "Ankara warned that further supply vessels will be sent to Gaza, escorted by the Turkish Navy, a development with unpredictable consequences.

Further news reports state there’s another two ships waiting at nearby ports to make the same journey.  Why do we care?

Does Israel want a war with Turkey? They can’t win it, short of using nukes, and Turkey is a NATO member.  If Israel attacks NATO ships, Turkey can invoke Article V.  (link)

NATO treaty, Article 5

The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defense recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.

Article 6 (1)
For the purpose of Article 5, an armed attack on one or more of the Parties is deemed to include an armed attack:
...on the forces, vessels, or aircraft of any of the Parties, when in or over...the Mediterranean Sea (link – Israel Matzav)

Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 38 lists the nations that will join Gog's coalition to come to Israel and to divide Jerusalem…

‘Persia, Cush, Put, will be with them, ...Gomer and all her cohorts, Bet Togarmah in the north and the many peoples.`  How’s NATO align with this?  (Perhaps) Gomer and all her cohorts and Bet Togarmah in the north.

A (possible) geulah tipping point is at hand.  ‘And we will have been like dreamers…’, everything will change ‘in a moment’.

Teshuvah, Tefilah, Tzedakah nullify the decree.  It’s a good time for some prayer, charity, and return to Hashem.

May Hashem bring the Geulah before it’s time b’rachamim.

NATO will not support Turkey in a war against Israel. NATO has enough trouble with Irak, Afghanistan, and now Iran. And I am not mentioning the Russians. If Turkey provokes Israel, Turkey is in this by itself.

I remember hearing/reading that ships coming from Turkey is a siman of something--maybe from the Vilna Gaon?

Yes Anonymous, but that applied to THAT time, not necessarily to us.

Regardless, things are getting interesting; however, can't really say it means Moshiach is coming imminently.

Still though, we need to do what we can physically and spiritually

More of the same from the Muslims and their supporters. They really need to get a new shtick. I can't believe non-Muslims buy into their tactics. All these people had to do was to use the proper channels and allow their cargo to be inspected.

Instead, the walking-dead opted for violence and foolishly threw away their life for nothing more than a stupid PR stunt. ZERO SYMPATHY FROM CRAZY SMADE!

As an ex-military puke I can relate to IDF who were thrown into this situation. I'm sure at least a few of them have got to be asking, "What were our leaders thinking? Wasn't there a better way of doing this?"

Sadly, anti-Semitism is so high right now in the States that I don't even want to step outside and talk about this with anyone here, because the Sheeple in my redneck of the woods, although they won't fully side with the Muslims, they also won't miss this chance to dog Jews in general and Israel in particular.

Worse, when I bother to rant to Jews about having to suffer these anti-Semitic JC-loving fools, I get told that it's my fault for living in the spiritual and physical poverty of America.

It's my fault that I was born a poor a Goy without the birthright and the means and wherewithal to move to Israel? It's my fault that the economy is being collapsed by design?

Funny, I don't remember asking HaShem to stick me into the body of a Goy and I don't remember voting for the policies that have bankrupted American on more levels than I could easily list.

Anyway, HaShem's running this show - not me! All I can do is go along for the ride and tell my fellow passengers in this lifeboat to stop jabbing and cutting holes in it, for all the good that does, and beg HaShem to smack some sense into humanity before it's too late. The smack down continues! All I can do is trust in HaShem's logistical mercies and His strategic judgments.

Oh, gosh, I want to be there when it happens!

On your GREAT post, add the following:
First, Yehezqel's Prophecy

"The Word of Ha Shem came to me, saying:
¨Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the head prince of Meshekh and Tuval, and prophesy against him.¨ Persia, Kush and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet,
Gomer and all his bands, the house of Togarmah from the far north and all his bands, many peoples with you." Yehezqel 38:1,2,5,6

Commentary by Imninalu.net: The Prophet Hezekiel is speaking about the nations that will come against Israel in the Last Days' time.

Conclusion:
There are two possible interpretations of Yehezqel's prophecy: the Prophet may refer either 1) to these peoples according to their geographic position in his time or else 2) to the same peoples in the future.

1) What he prophesied, then, is an end-time battle involving the following nations coming against Israel: Turkey (Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Togarmah); Iran (Persia), Sudan (Kush), and Libya (Put).

At present, only the last three states are openly against Israel, while Turkey is the main military settlement of the Western Alliance in the Middle East.

2) Gog is not called "king", but "head prince", that means, one that leads a coalition of states not being the actual ruler of each of them. He is an international leader. This aspect fits with the present world political situation. Turkey is the land from which Israel will be attacked, as clearly stated by the geographic description given by the Prophet, yet, the leader may be someone from other nation.
The descent of these peoples are now present in western nations, among which the following:

British Isles: Celtic, Gaels, Irish, Welsh, Britons (Gomer); Scots (Magog, according to the Milesian genealogy); Anglo-Saxons (Gomer, Magog and Meshekh).

France: Gaul, Britons (Gomer); Franks, Goths, other Germanic peoples (Gomer, Magog and Meshekh); Gascons (Tuval).

Spain: Celtiberians (Gomer and Tuval); Basques (Tuval); Goths (Meshekh).
United States: every one of the above mentioned, though the leadership is from British/Irish stock (Gomer, Magog). Besides, this nation includes a large number of people of African stock (Kush and Put).

Turkey is the main ally of these countries in the Middle East. Their apparent "friendship" with Israel should not be misleading, as the "evil one" is also the betrayer that seals an agreement to break it later. Of course, the present political evolution does not discard the possibility that Russia may join them in the future, but according to the prophecy she will not.

I think it's becoming extremely obvious that the Flotilla never had "peaceful" intentions and I believe Israel has every right to defend themselves.
