While Attorney Braffman makes some very strong points about how the community approach to the legal system must change, it's also true that practices don't change overnight - and the community is now being targeted. The people at this hurriedly organized gathering are REGULAR ORTHODOX Jews. The regular business people that were brought together to receive a pep talk about being 'honest', and about education!
The Ultras are the Satmar, Williamsburgh, Monroe, and some in BP & Flatbush. There is a difference.
He makes some excellent points! How can you be a light to the nations if you're not upholding the highest of standards in every area of your life? You can't milk the system simply because others are milking it or even because the system itself has been designed to be milked! Why not? Because you answer to and represent a Higher Authority.
