Face to Face with Terror

Bat Ayin bleeds after a terrorist attack. Shlomo Nativ, the 13 year-old son of Rabbi Chaim Nativ, was slaughtered by an Arab with an ax. Shlomo's funeral was yesterday.

The attack took place right before noon in the center of Bat Ayin, in front of the grocery store.

Please pray for 7-year old Yair Tuvia ben Michal who is suffering from a fractured skull after having been hit by the same ax-swinging terrorist that murdered Shlomo Nativ. Yair Tuvia is the son of Ofer Gamliel, who has been incarcerated for the last 7 years. Though Arab terrorists receive vacations on a regular basis, Gamliel has not been allowed out of the prison during these 7 years.

May Hashem comfort the Nativ family among the other mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.

Before the boy's body was cold, US State Department spokeman Robert Wood stated, "The United States will push hard for Palestinian statehood despite a new rightist government in Israel but anticipates a rough road ahead. We're going to be working hard to see what we can do to move the process forward. But we're under no illusions. It's not going to be easy. We have to engage constantly and remind the parties of their obligations and to try to set up a framework, a process for getting us toward that goal of a two-state solution."

Apparently, not murdering Jewish children with an ax is not part of the Palestinian's peace obligations.

I cannot express how revolting that picture is! What if it happened to my son?!? How about yours? G-d forbid! When one is weeping and then sees such an insensitive picture...
Your post seems to be taken from Lazer Beams as an intro to US vomit. Fine. But the facts of the story aren't right. Not that it matters. And niether does the words of the world.
Unless we can see that Shlomo is my son and your son. And the vomit the world spews are words that Hashem intends us to hear. And we become sensitized to the fact that we are one people with One G-d and the message is that we need to do tshuvah NOW!
It would be nice to kill all the muslims. But we have a worthless government. So we could kill them, too. The
world at large is against us. OK, kill them. Who's left?

At times like these, emotions run the gamut. Weeping, rage, concern, fear, anger, sorrow, etc. When it stabalizes, the only comfort is know Hashem is in total control.
Bat Ayin has lost two tzaddikim. The arabs were the means that Hashem used. The US pressured a weak Israeli governent to relax security which led to this unimaginable horror. All as a means of getting our attention.

So, what do we do now...
I think I'll go and see if I can help my neighbors, the Nativ family. And do tshuvah.

It seems to me that Judgement is falling upon the USA. Ever since Bush-Rice tried to divide Yerushalyim and give land to the Ishmaelites....things have been going down hill. And now, B Hussein Obama is going evicerate Israel and the USA will crumble to the ground.
