You Fund It: Follow Up

Just another example of how You Fund It - you are funding terrorist propaganda whether you realize it or not... from Palestinian Media Watch

The "fist" symbol says, "Our Land Brings Us Together, and the census unites us.

Palestine Authority census, notice the images to the right. Yes indeed, that's Israel painted in Palestinian colors - on the web site, on TV, and on the brochures - paid for by the symbols on the bottom:

Norway, Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) and UNICEF (United Nations Childrens Fund).

UNFPA: The United States was one of the founders of UNFPA and continues to sit on the 36-member Executive Board that approves its programmes. In UNFPA’s early years, the United States contributed as much as half of the Fund’s budget. Over the last two decades, US funding has been intermittent. Since 2002, the United States Congress appropriated some $34 million annually for UNFPA.

: In 2007 the US government contributed ~9% of the total budget. UNICEF's budget is $3,000,000,000 (billion), of which the United States contributed $277,000,000 (million) and was the largest government donor. The largest intergovernmental organization contribution was $128 million from the European Commission, including the Humanitarian Aid Office.

There you have it folks. Palestine represents itself to it's people as all of Israel and YOU FUNDED IT.

  1. Shalom, Akiva.
I merely ask: "You funded it." [?]
I know that you made aliyah less than a year ago and as an American citizen you once paid taxes and possibly must file the next year's return.
Wouldn't "we" be a better pronoun to use in place of "You," then?

Also, I am neither a member nor a supporter of UNFPA or UNICEF and I resent the generalization. Hope I haven't offended you. Have a great day.
