Kever Rochel

-- Public Service Announcement --

Kever Rochel, the holy burial site of our Matriarch Rachel, who as the Torah states was buried along the way in Beit Lechem (Bethlehem), has now been reopened to private vehicle traffic. Since the previous intifada some years ago, when the Palestinians showed their peaceful protection of holy sites by sniping at Kever Rochel - and in response the Israelis turned the place into a physical fortress - the site has been reopened to private traffic rather than bullet proof buses only (which severely limited access).

This is a test situation, to see if there is enough public interest in private traffic to make it worth guarding the short road in. So them that we care, take a drive to Kever Rochel.
