Refuah Shalayma HaRav Eliyahu!!!

Newsflash: Former Chief Sephardic Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu was rushed to the intensive care unit at Jerusalem's Shaarei Tzedek Hospital Tuesday before noon.

The rabbi's condition was described as "critical."

The public is asked to pray for a complete and speedy recovery for Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazal Tov.

[I suspect this is wrong, it's probably ben Mazel, as Mazel is a not-uncommon female Israel name, but Mazel Tov would seem rather unusual.]

  1. Refu'a Sheleima.

BTW, "Mazal Tov" is a fairly common Sephardic woman's name. I know women with that name.
