When cleaning for Pesach there are different kavanahs for a man and a woman.

- A man must remember that chometz stands for arrogance, and that he must rid his house of this horrible thing.

- The woman while cleaning for Pesach must remember over and over again, dirt is not chometz, dirt is not chometz.
