Anti-Semitic Google?

by Akiva at Mystical Paths

I was searching for Jewish Music sites recently on Google, and this interesting little note popped up as the leading site-ad:

Offensive Search Results
We're disturbed about these results
as well. Please read our note here.
www.google.com/explanation

which leads to this, umm, interesting explanation...

If you recently used Google to search for the word "Jew," you may have seen results that were very disturbing. We assure you that the views expressed by the sites in your results are not in any way endorsed by Google. We'd like to explain why you're seeing these results when you conduct this search...

And of course, they go on to explain that it has nothing to do with Google and everything to do with people who publish bad stuff that Google automatically indexes.

But, I looked at that URL, which has no site depth, and said, just "Jew"? So I searched for Arab, Muslim, Islam, Christian, and others, including a series of offensive racist words.

Nope, no such warning or explanation. Which means, if one searches the world for offensive anti-race web sites, the #1 concern and result is for Jews. And there is no #2.

Esav hates Yaakov. Apparently it doesn't matter he knows Yaakov, has ever met Yaakov, or only heard a rumor or legend about Yaakov. He still hates him.
