"Some of Us are Waking Up"

by Reb Nati at Mystical Paths

The following is an excerpt from an interview that Ploni posted in comments, interview Here.

"The Rebbe (the Lubavitcher Rebbe) mentioned many times that which the Gemara says in Sanhedrin "All predestined dates (for the redemption) have passed and the matter now depends only on repentance." The Rebbe would cry very much when he said this."

As the Lubavitcher Rebbe said, at this present time there is only one shitah, that is teaching and leading people to T'SHUVAH (repentence/reconnecting to G-d). This comes straight from Dovid HaMelek (King David) as he was the one to introduce t'shuvah into the world. Prior, we don't have one case of repentance, and Rebbenu (Nachman of Breslov) teaches us that we need to do t'shuvah, and how to do it, and why!

This is the message that all of us need to hear, receive, understand and accomplish if we want geulah shalaymah (the complete redemption). Real repentance is like this: You need to completely throw away everything you know and start again with a broken heart, call and cry out to Hashem and get clean, then ask Him to fill the void, and only then can you start to fill your life anew with truth and emunah (faith) in the Hashem and not in 'shtuss'. We need to be careful not to let alien and corrupt ideas enter. We have a written record of what has worked and failed. Read it, learn it, trust it.

This new/old way is a life style, not a religion. It a total and simple trusting of Hashem!!!
