Akiva, why bother reading the nonsense? Sick people exist and no one can cure them. I pity them for they don't know what is going to happen to them. First Europe and then ... people more evil that themselves will bring them suffering ...
Trends. It's important to watch the trends. Like the broken window theory in the downfall of a neighborhood, trends and tipping points bear watching. Individual idiots are of little concern, patterns of idiocy bear watching and preparing for early.
World War II wasn't a surprise. The collapse of the Soviet Union was, though for those watching closely it was just hitting a tipping point. The moments of the Geulah will involve both. Some trends we are already seeing, such as Yishmael rising up and shaking the world. Others, such as the ingathering of the exiles may be more of a tipping point, assuming most of the East is already done and there is a steady but low flow from the West, what's the tipping point?
Maybe it's things like this, that subtle change of the public environment from friendly and supportive (even if the actual government foreign policy actions have been otherwise) to mildly hostile but not personally threatening. Maybe.
