The Spiritual Side of the Struggle
While I've been going on, at extreme length, over the last 2 days about the physical side of the struggle in Israel, it's not only important but absolutely critical to keep in mind the spiritual side of this struggle.
The Ongoing Prayer Campaign
Rav Mordechai Eliyahu (the saintly and righteous former chief sepharidic rabbi of Israel), recommends saying the following kipitilak of tehillim (numbered psalms) daily: 120-124, 130, 140
Rabbi Lazer Brody is leading a very special prayer campaign, the saying Perek Shira for 40 consecutive days. Perek Shira is a mystical text of 84 elements of the world praising G-d and teaching lessons. Rabbi Brody's comments and instructions here, and here is a link to Perek Shira in English and Hebrew.
The Depth of The Process
Yiddishkeit.Org has posted a review by the 2nd grand rabbi of Chabad chassidus on the moments before Moshiach, "Explaining the reasons for the period of "birthpangs" which preceed the coming of Moshiach".
YeranenYaakov has up a translation from LeDavid.Net, "Achdus (unity) from the current problems is a major step in bringing Moshiach".
Changing Opinions
Haaretz left-wing reporter changes to anti-disengagement supporter.
Mirty (of Mirty's Place) has changed her mind about disengagement.
