Thanks to the kindness of a cousin, I had the privilege of attending the Siyum HaShas this evening in Madison Square Garden in New York City. Over 120,000 religious Jewish men and women took part in this celebration of the completion of/start of the Talmudic learning cycle, the Daf Yomi (page-a-day).

It was an inspiring evening.
