The new blog Jerusalem Mandate writes:
There are no coincidences. G-d is moving His chess pieces into position for the checkmate of human history.
This reminds me of an excerpt from a letter purported to be from Rebbe Nachman (first and only grand rabbi of the Breslov hassidim) when in referring to the revelation of Mashiach he wrote (as I recall): "..and the sign will be, on the 17th of Tammuz (mid-summer Jewish fast day commemorating the breaching of the walls of Jerusalem) they will say you are not fasting."
Mofaz Fears Failure, Cuts Expulsion Time to 3-4 Weeks
...Another obstacle to quick execution of the plan is the coincidence of the pullout period with two fast days during the traditional three week period in which Jews recall previous disasters in Jewish history. The first fast day (the 17 th of the month of Tammuz) falls on Sunday July 24, and continues until sunset. Three weeks later, on Saturday night, August 13, a 24-hour fast on the ninth of Av (Tisha B'Av) begins . The fasts will further complicate the planned expulsion because they immediately follow the Sabbath, during which Mofaz has promised the evacuation will cease.
The emotions of a forced evacuation on the fast days, which are in memory of previous disasters in Jewish history during the same period, will make it difficult for defense forces to execute the operation on those days.
Hot Comment added by the author of the End of Days blog:
Rav Mordechai Eliyahu and other mekubalim have said that the turning point on the Gaza capitulation plan will take place between Purim and Pesach. G-d willing we will feast on the 17th of Tamuz.
